Some HR questions will also arouse....like ...
Que: Why should I hire You?
Que: What If you don't get what You have expected from Wipro?
Que: What are your future plans?
Que: What if the Infy offers you attracting offer while you are working in Wipro?
Que: Describe Yourself?
Que: Why did You Choose your area of interest?
-Then came the questions from C n C++.The questions will come from the subjects that you have written in your CV.The best part is that they understand the pressure of BPUT.Questions were like
-What is the difference between C n C ++?
-What is Polymorphism? How Polymorphism n Inheritance are related?
-What is Virtual Function?
-Write programs on Inheritance.
-Basic concepts on C

-Be ready to write any simple programs in C like recursion(factorial, fibonacci series etc),matrix operations, string operations, structure, small codes(using for, while,do-while,if-else)

-Acquire basic knowledge on Linked Lists,Stack n Queue,Sorting n Searching,Postfix-Prefix operations, trees n graphs. DONT NEGLECT DATA STRUCTURE.Students got disqualified as they failed to answer on DSTC.

-Have fundamental knowledge on RDBMS(like different keys, Normalization, indexing, Transaction management).

- Have a overall fundamental idea of your branch papers (especially your favourites) as this is very crucial.

When I was asked about Polymorphism,I started with a bang explaining everything including operator overloading, function overloading, virtual function until he stopped me (when I was about to write program on virtual function) telling "I am impressed by your prowess in C++,you dont need to explain more".

They asked about the project that I have worked.
Question on C pointers , memory managements.
It does not matter in which stream u r . They r going to ask on the same thing that u r working with or have worked.
HR :-
No strange.. "Tell me about ur self and family back."
"What have u done after UG/PG"

Punctuation marks(1)

Aptitude Section:
Analyzing summary of paragraph(3)
Written Test:

Written test consists of 3 sections : 1. General English 2. Aptitude 3. Technical Questions

English was very easy. All sentence completions, active voice to passive voice, comprehensions like that. Anyone with good english can easily cross this section. Refer to Barrons for sentence completions and comprehensions.
Aptitude was too very easy. It just consists of questions like reasoning, basic physics, ratio-proportions, percentages, profit-loss...refer to RS.Agarwal.
Technical questions will be easy for a student with computer science background. Non-CS please dont worry, you will have a lower cut-off in this section when compared to a CS student. Questions from DBMS, OS, C, Java, Unix, Computer Networks, General keyboard shortcuts will be asked.

1) Verbal (15 Questions) (Normal active, passive voice, add punctuation mark, complete the passage with appropriate words sort of questions)
2) Quantitative (15 Questions) (Only clear the basics of math’s like sums on ages, percentage, logical reasoning, mental ability sort of questions)
3) Technical (20 Questions) (don’t get baffled just try out ur knowledge and ur 3yrs of engg experience for technical section)

Verbal was bit easy…it consisted of 15 questions
2 questions on meanings
2 questions on analogy
2 questions on correction of sentence
2 questions on opposites
4 questions on comprehensive passage
2 questions on fill up the blanks with multiple choices
1 odd man out

verbal type :word pair, analogy, fill in the blanks with appropriate words
Apti type:people,n chairs/chambers/parking etc all questions of this type and also a paragraph was given and the logical deduction was to be done.4 questions were common from barons
Tech type:gk of computers(no programming language questions) 4 options for eachInterview was in 2 stages , technical was mainly concentrated on data structure and C .. DBMS and CPP was also asked but stress was mainly upon the former , linux was asked too if it was mentioned in the CV it was grilling and easy for some (there were 7 panels) for the non -IT branch the interview was mainly on their project . HR was also an easy cake , we had to prepare for 2 questions:What u know abt wipro and ur strong points ,weak point, hobbies nothing else but the most surprising part was that they eliminated more than 50 % of the candidates in the HR only whereas in others HR eliminates only 5-10% ... bye and best of luck

2. What are your strengths?
I said, I can tune myself into any new environment so easily. I have good learning skills and I can perfectly fit into a team. I gave analogies for each of my strength.
3. What is Six-Sigma?
This is a quality standard. Wipro is the first company to use it. It means, if 1 million products or services are manufactured they will be only 3.2 erroneous products or services. I came to knew it from Pre-placement talk.

How is it a weakness?
What r u doing to overcome the weakness?

WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?I answered in a usual simple way-Sir,your company needs smart & intelligent people who have got good analytical & communicative skills & I perfectly justify to your needs.I am creative, dilligent & honest. I have got basic knowledge of C & C++.Next-YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT C & C++,RIGHT?-Sir, both these prodigious languages are like boundless reservoir of knowledge so if I say I know everything about C & C++ then I will belittle the power of C & C++ -He was visibly impressed by my answer (This answer was told to me by one my senior). He asked me about our tech fest 'CHAKRAVYUH'(as I was the coordinator)

This time a single women of age around 30 yrs.

Comprehensive passage was little bit easy…remaining Barron’s will help u…

Next was analytical..see frnds..this time..both previous papers and R.S.Agarwal dint helped me…questions were totally talent based..3 questions were too long..even I dint read them..juz guessed…there were 15 questions…
2 questions were on divisibility…say…
A number when divides with 9, 8, 5, 3 leaves remainder 5,3,6,0..wat is da number…u can do this simply by verifying the options…another was also the same type…
One was on Permutation and combinations…my view is that..to be good in all mathematics basics n general thinking…so dat it would become easy…

Next was the most tuff one of the exam..analytical…god…Iam from biomedical engineering stream..n all question are from java..oracle..unix..only one question was from C n other one from C++ ..
20 questions were asked..gud news is that…wipro management said that…there will be lower cut-of for non-it branches…but this was accepted by them prior to the exam..we informed about this to wipro..on aug 1st…
