Employability training for the pre-final year students (2008 passing out)

During this Academic Year 2006 – 2007, the Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP) for all the 222 Self Finance Engineering Colleges (other than Deemed Universities and Autonomous Colleges) affiliated to Anna University is organized and most of the Multi National Software Companies and Core Companies are participating in TNSLPP.

M/s GE Energy, Hyderabad has agreed to participate in the Campus Placement on 11th & 12th January, 2007 to recruit “Graduate Engineer Trainees” with the salary of Rs. 3.3 Lakhs p.a. The Centre for University Industry Collaboration is planning to conduct this programme at J.J.College of Engineering & Technology, Ammapettai Village, Poolankulathupatti (Post), Tiruchirappalli - 620 009 for the students of all regions in Tamil Nadu.

As per the requirements of M/s GE Energy, Hyderabad the students from Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation and Instrumentation & Control Engineering stream will be considered for recruitment. It is mandatory that all the students should secure 60% and above marks in their 10th & 12th Standard and an average of 70% and above marks from I Semester to VI Semester in B.E. / B.Tech. It is requested that the Principal / Placement Officers of the College should verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend the campus placement. The eligible students certified by the Principal / Placement Officer alone will be permitted to participate.

Candidates who have already registered and paid the Registration fee need not register and pay again. However they have to produce the Anna University passbook at the time of verification. All the other eligible and interested candidates have to pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only) each in the form of a Demand draft drawn in favour of “The Director, CUIC, Anna University” payable at Chennai as one time Registration fee.
